I just bought a new 2009 Nissan Altima for $30k and I was shocked that they did not include the floor mats for free!!! They tried to get me for an additional $60 for a set of cheap recycled floor mats. But I showed them, instead I went to the local junk yard in Toronto (my home city) and got a set for $9 and they looked as good as new.
While on the subject of auto recycling yards, you can always count on a great deal when you need used auto parts. I remember my insurance company was going to write off my beloved 2001 Chevy and instead I went to the local car junk yard in New York (at the time) and got a new bumper and passenger seat for a fraction of what it would have cost from the dealer.
